Hurricane Sandy

First and foremost, My prayers go out to everyone who was affected by the hurricane.
I first read from one of my instagrammers that power was out of reach and everyone was trapped in their houses for days. I didn't know it was severe until some photos starts appearing on the net and having read entries from my favourite bloggers about being trapped in their own house for days and how scary is was just praying for their lives.

The president was there for the people; cancelled two of this campaign.
My favourite photos in the bunch. It was inspiring.

Here are few photos from the news..

A swan made its way down a flooded street in Lindenhurst, N.Y.

Residents, lit by police vehicles, stand outside their homes during a power outage in Lower Manhattan, on October 29, 2012. New York power company Consolidated Edison said on Monday that it had shut off power to part of Lower Manhattan to protect electrical equipment and to allow for quicker restoration after Hurricane Sandy passes. A beautiful rainbow arched over the city after the hurricane.
Best wishes from me to all of you.
